Situated in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, next to the old woolmarket, you will find Michael’s Mediterranean Restaurant.
Chef & Restaurateur Michael Alexiou bought Woolmarket House in 1986 and transformed it into the charming and unique restaurant it is today. The building dates from circa 1720 and features two magnificent inglenook fireplaces.
Dine in relaxed surroundings with the warm ambience of open fires in the winter, or on our pretty terrace in the summer. We offer traditional Greek cuisine, complemented by modern, Mediterranean dishes. From an array of Mezze dishes, fresh fish, seafood and seasonal daily specials, to our renowned “Marathona” fillet steaks; all our ingredients are locally-sourced where possible.

From wedding parties and anniversary dinners, to birthday celebrations and hen nights, for the last 30 years Michael’s has designed and delivered celebrations to remember!
Our restaurant spans two levels meaning we can accommodate up to 65 guests in total, or, for a private dining experience, up to 36 guests can be accommodated in the upper level of the restaurant. Both levels feature an impressive inglenook fireplace.

To ensure your guests have a truly unique night, we can even finish the night with Greek dancing and plate smashing if requested!
